Revolutionizing Communication with Cutting-Edge Technology

Introducing ALEYE

At HoqWare, we understand that meaningful connections are built on communication — not just what we say, but what we show.

Facial expressions and body language account for more than half of communication. But for millions of people who are blind or low-vision, this entire dimension has been out of reach. We’re changing that.

How the ALEYE System Works

The ALEYE System consists of a wristband equipped with vibro-tactile haptic motors and a pair of camera-integrated glasses. These custom components work together in a three-stage process.

First, we analyze the glasses’ built-in camera stream to detect non-verbal cues – like a smile or an outstretched hand.

Next, we decode the cues – mapping each unique expression and gesture to a distinct haptic pattern.

Finally, we deliver the patterns right to your ALEYE wristband. They’re transformed into haptic feedback in real time.

In beta tests, many of the patterns are recognized the first time they’re felt – and testers achieve near-perfect recognition in under 2 minutes of use.

ALEYE makes me a more responsive teacher and help me provide my students with more support than I can just by listening

As a totally blind person, these nonverbal cues were previously unbeknownst to me, and resulted in some awkward situations where I did not know that I needed to respond. ALEYE is changing that.

When I began to feel the vibration sets and was able to interpret their meaning, it began to restore a once long-lost depth of everyday communication.
